Registration for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year begins with our currently enrolled families in December 2016. Registration will open to the public in January 2017.
The Child Development Center roughly follows the Chesterfield County Public Schools yearly School Calendar. We will open for school following Labor Day. The school year will end before Memorial Day.
All students enrolled in the Child Development Center must be immunized in accordance with the guidelines of the State of Virginia. The CDC does not accept waivers for Immunizations.
Field Trip Policy
During the school year there are two field trips scheduled for all enrolled students. The CDC does not transport children for field trips. Each student Activity Fee pays for the student and one chaperone to attend the field trip.
Transportation is the responsibility of the parent, or designated chaperone. We invite and encourage families to make our field trips a family event.
Once a class roster has been filled a wait list will be established. When an opening becomes available, the wait list will be used to fill the class vacancy.
